Just some quick petite fashion tips to start off your Saturday!

1. Avoid horizontal strips!!

Horizontal strips sometimes make you look wider and shorter! Try a vertical pattern or just make sure the stripes do not over take your body.

People may think the perfect model or celebrity is 6 feet 2 inches tall, but in the spotlight today there are so many petite celebs. Celebrities are known to be petite if they stand under 5 feet 4 inches. They each flaunt their own style which make their “petiteness” stand out. Lets take a look at my top ten ”Hottie Petities” and their style.  

10. Hillary Duff,  23, Actress/singer

5 feet 1 inches

You might know Hillary from the Lizzie McGuire Show on Disney Channel  her style has changed so much since she has been Lizzie. I love her and her sexy new hubby Mike Comrie ( I love hockey players and wrestlers) he plays for the  Pittsburgh Penguins. Love them!

9. Paula Abdul 49, Singer/Dancer

5 feet 2 inches

I love Paula and was so sad when she left American Idol, but I think JLO is doing amazing job filling in her shoes, (FYI I cannot believe Pia went home last week). Paula is known for her different style and sometime people do not like what she wears because  they think she is too bold.

Hayden Panettiere really knows how to flaunt her “Petiteness” and her style is so up beat and classy. I cannot wait to see her in Scream 4 which is coming out this weekend! Love this cocktail dress.

7. Natalie Portman 27, Award Winning Actress

2011 has been a big year for Natalie she has won best actress award for the Golden Globes and The Academy Awards, and this petite is  pretty PreGo. 

6. Nicole Polizzi ”Snooki” 23, Reality TV Star

4 feet 10 inches (5 feet with the snookie Poof)

In this season of Jersey Shore Snooki showed of her petitness through her sexy” Guidette”  style even when she wore her slippers. She loves the animal prints and her poof.

5. Kourtney Kardashian 30, Reality TV Star, Model, Designer

5 feet 2 inches

Kourtney the oldest of the Kardashian sisters and also is the petite one compared to sisters Kim and Klhoe. She gained her petite size back very quickly after giving birth to son Mason. She has great fashion sense and flaunts it off in her Dash stores.

This may really surprise you that Jessica is a petite because she is always wearing heels. I love her fashion line it is so cute and filled with colors. I’m actually saving up money right now for a pair of heels from her line which I have I feel in love with.

This Sexy Lady from the popular tv show Sex in the City is known for her fashion sense in the show and off. In the show she is always wearing designer labels and I only can dream about having her closet.

One of my favorite movies is Sweet Home Alabama and it made me fall in love with Reese. She is always wearing something hip and trendy. She was just a beautiful bride to husband Jim Toth. She is rocking a sweetheart top just like her wedding dress.

The world of a petite

Hello Blogging World!!

My name is Meg, also known as meglet, little meg, munchkin, and the list goes on. I stand at 4 feet and 11 inches (but on my license I put 5 foot). I have always been the shortest one out of all my friends and family and this is how I got all these nicknames.

The drawing above is a picture of my friends and I. My friend Allison drew us with the things that make each of us unique.. The quality she picked for me was my “Petiteness” ( I am all the way to the right next to Garry the groundhog).  

To tell you the truth I love being short! I know some people feel that being short they are always being looking down upon. I would have to say to them they should embrace their shortness ( I mean you cannot change your height unless you want to wear heels everyday, but you can always change your attitude). I have never let my height bring me down even when my little sister and I would get into sisterly love fights and she would call me a Umpa Lumpa ( the little men from one of my favorite movies Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).  My dad would always tells me, ”Good things come in small packages.” I have always kept this quote in the back of my mind and it has helped me become who I am today.

 With my blog I want to express my ”Petiteness” by giving lifestyle, fashion, and other tips in my posts.
